Wednesday when we woke up, this was in Vicki's driveway:
Yep, that's Stevie Ray Van, Steve's Winnebago, and that was the 35th day of his 2019 Vanabout! He left Dallas on September 18 or 19 and headed to Vermont via the Pacific Northwest. He stopped at several vineyards along the way and amassed six cases of wine in SRV.
After a quick visit with Steve, Vicki headed out to get him crumb cake, one of his favorites. I'm not much of a fan at all but did have a small taste. Vicki and Steve had a field day. Steve worked in SRV until about five o'clock and then we three headed to Rose's Pizza joint in Garfield. Really great pizza. Then home. Vicki went out to meet with some friends and Steve and I partook of some sparkling wine from Gruet. GREAT!!!
Of course, Zoe was included and enjoyed relaxing on a couch that didn't have wheels and vibration.
Thursday, today, Steve worked and Vicki and I went through things to get rid of and did other chores around the house. She and I will have dinner at home tonight and Steve will take a bus into NYC to meet some friends.
So that's it so far. Exciting, isn't it?!?!?

Rose's is a really great pizzeria. I froze some of the leftovers. There might be a day when I feel like having a small slice of marinara 7" pie, loaded with garlic (one of their specialties).
Zoe definitely looks a little tired (and adorable) after a long, long car trip! Took a moment to look at Rose's Pizza website. It's 6:00am and I'm suddenly starving for pizza.
