January 1, 2016 - Happy New Year!

As many of you know, my travels have been put on hold. No New Jersey or Vermont in 2015 and I sure missed seeing my family and friends. While that doesn't thrill me, the progress Jay has made gives me hope that my / our travels will be in the not-too-distant future.  In fact, with the arrival of his new Black Beauty [2016 Lincoln MKX Black Label edition] below,

we've begun the preliminary plans for a road trip to Carmel in late August.  No, not for the car festivities, but just to enjoy the trip and perhaps meet up with old friends.  Our thoughts are to stay at The Mission Ranch instead of The Tickle Pink.  It's closer to town for a nice walk and just a short walk up the path to the restaurant which we love.  As I said, just preliminary stages.

Black Beauty joins Hannah, my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, which Jay bought me for Christmas, so we're back to being a two-car family.

So far there have been no fights in the garage!

So, I've decided to post to this blog more frequently, traveling or not.  I'll not bore you with our travels to see Jay's many doctors but if we get really good news, I'll be posting and shouting from the rooftops.  Suffice to say, he's made a great deal of improvement since he left Baylor and Reliance Rehab.

For now, I hope 2016 is filled with nothing but health, prosperity, happiness and tons and tons of laughter.
