On Saturday morning, The Little People got us up. We'd promised them a trip to the park and the adjacent playground. This time we drove as it's only a two-lane road and with five of us walking, it probably wouldn't be a good idea. Carol went with us and Matt said he'd join us.
For camping lovers, there's a place called Camp on the Battenkill, and while the roughest I'll go is no room service, this is a lovely area. This photograph isn't indicative of the Saturday weather - I took it while we were on our walk on Friday. Check the sky!! Clear and a million!
We had a great time at the park - Josh even found a dead frog but I didn't want to photograph it. He also found a rock formation which looked like a snake or a dinosaur. Someone had taken the time and used their imagination to paint lipstick on it.
There was a baseball diamond at the park and the Little People played an imaginary game. Each of them swatted the ball out of the park for home runs!!
After a little rest with Grandma,
we headed back to the motel to get cleaned up for THE WEDDING!!! By this time, Matt had arrived with his car and we split. Vicki and I to breakfast and The Seekonk Giuseffis for a nap.
Again, we drove into Manchester for a tiny bit of shopping and the sky looked ominous. In fact, we were rained upon. Thankfully, the anticipated storm dissipated but the weather was humid.
Tune in later for Part Three - THE WEDDING!
Ciao.
